Tas Kebab with ostrich meat - (Tas Kebab me kreas strouthokamilou)

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 kg ostrich goulas or steak
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 – 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 green pepper, cut in stripes
  • parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 spoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
METHOD
Cut then meat in cubes. Mix the tomato paste in water and oil. Place the meat in a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Place the meat in a crock pot. Pour over the tomato paste mix and bake in 180 C for 1 hour. Stir at regular intervals. Serve with fried or baked potatoes.
